We have been sightseeing Sri Lanka for 2 weeks in January 2004.
Sri Lanka looks like an emerald on the Indian Ocean, edged with golden beaches. The vegetation is exhuberant, the beaches are idyllic and bordered with coconut palms, climate warm and wet is cooled by sea light winds...
Nevertheless, it has been opened to turism since 30 years. The outcome are always all the same : concrete.
Because of a late organization, we left throw a travel agency : the flight was more expensive than the full tour fixed by Nomade Aventure.
"Voyage au pays des fées" offers a well balanced trip between beaches, small treks and cultural sightseeing. We added to the initial tour some extras : Mulkirigala temple, a night waiting for the sea turtles...
You can also fix this trip by yourself, main part of Sri Lankan people can speak english.
